Amory Marine Sales, Inc. is family owned and operated by the Langford family.
Our business began in 1956, when Gordon and Imogene Langford started an electrical contract business in Amory. Gordon worked on several large wiring construction jobs in the area until 1960. It was then that he decided to also start selling boats. He started to focus more on the marine and powersports industry as the boat business grew along with the opportunity to take on a Honda Motorcycle Dealership in 1965. The electrical business became a sideline until it was phased out in the early 1970s.
In 1990, we decided to drop Honda. In 1991, we decided to become a part of the Polaris franchise. We continue to stock the full line of Polaris Side x Sides and ATVs. In addition to these lines we also offer Bayliner, Crestliner, Berkshire, and Bentley Pontoon boats. We have everything you need to get outdoors and have FUN!
Gordon and Imogene had six children--five boys and one girl. Three of his five sons and one grandson are still active in the business today. Gordon has passed away now but his philosophy of "We service, what we sell" is still alive at Amory Marine Sales.
